Middle Grade Fiction
Also known as Junior Fiction, Middle Grade Fiction is for 8-12 year olds who are starting to read longer, more complex books.
At Raintree, we believe in supporting all readers, so our books in this genre start at just 32 pages, and span a wide range of interests and themes. Amongst others, we have adventures in sport, fantasy and historical fiction, as well as realistic settings that confront the issues children face today. We also offer gripping hi-lo fiction for children who may be struggling.
Our Middle Grade Fiction offers windows into other worlds, sparking imagination and curiosity. They help readers explore and understand ethical issues, developing empathy and emotional intelligence. Exciting stories engage readers and inspire them in their research and writing.
